II Calculation Type-Liquid Release, Irregular Opening (Ammonia)

After selecting this Calculation Type, enter information for the Area of Leak, Gauge Pressure — which will give you the Liquid Flow Rate value — then enter the Number of Minutes Released and Recalculate Button 
to give you the Total Liquid Released value. Then select the Save Button 
.
The Calculations grid will list the added Calculation. The first column shows the Calculation Type.

| Area of Leak (inches2) | Enter the area of the leak |
| Gauge Pressure (psig) | Enter the gauge pressure |
| Number of Minutes Released | Enter how long (in minutes) the leak has been going |
| Recalculate | Select this after you have entered the information above. Then select the Save Button . |
| Liquid Flow Rate (lbs./min.) | Calculated from the Area of Leak and Gauge Pressure |
| Total Liquid Released (lbs.) | Calculation of the total liquid released (.lbs) |
| Formula Used | Lists the formula used to calculate the Total Liquid Released |
